Can I get a grant for the charger?
The original OLEV/OZEV home charging grant for individual homeowners ended in March 2022. The Workplace Charging Scheme (WCS) is still active for businesses installing chargers at workplaces. The EV chargepoint grant for flats and rented accommodation is also active for landlords and managing agents. We are OZEV approved which means we can install under both schemes. We help with the documentation.
Do you handle the DNO notification?
Yes. Some EV charger installs require notification to National Grid Electricity Distribution (the DNO for Northamptonshire). This is required where the total potential demand exceeds 60A (typically only on multi-charger installs or three-phase) or where load management is being relied upon. We handle the notification on your behalf as part of the install quote. No cost to you.
Can I integrate the charger with my solar panels?
